Hydrangeas with Green Apples
Hydrangeas with Green Apples

I started this painting yesterday and I am really liking the way the hydrangea is coming along. I don't know if it's the new brushes or the very expensive, high quality, triple hand primed linen that I recently started painting on, but I think they both have something to do with this flower just rolling off my fingers. I have only finished 1/2 of the hydrangea but plan on locking myself in the studio today and finishing most of this today. There are also some peach colored roses on the left and green apples. The colors look really amazing together.  I will post it when I'm done.

Next bit of great news......the studio is finally done!!!! I have never been so happy to see two people leave in my life. Ed and Steve packed up and pulled their pickup truck out of my driveway for the last time on this project. They are really nice guys but to have two extra people needing this and that for six weeks I was ready to have my house back, and a finished art studio! They did a beautiful job and today I begin the process of slowly moving everything from my basement studio up to my heated and air conditioned stand along studio next to the garage. Wee-hoo! I will post pictures this weekend after I get a bit more stuff moved in.
