Thoughts on Painting

Time for a blog update. Here is my most recent completed painting. I worked on this at Frank's studio and love the way it turned out. The colors in the shrimp took a lot of tinkering with but I am thrilled at the way they turned out. This is a painting for my husband's birthday coming up in June. It was a personal request from him that I paint this subject matter. I never would have picked shrimp out to paint. One must paint shrimp quickly. It gets to be quite smelly quite fast!
